Print program DAY 1: HANOI – BA BE LAKE
Departure from Hanoi to Ba Be Lake. Take a motorboat trip across the lake and along the Nang River, enjoying the lush tropical forest and peaceful natural scenery.
Overnight at a local homestay in Ba Be.
DAY 2: BA BE LAKE – CAO BANG
Continue exploring Ba Be National Park, renowned for its rich biodiversity and spectacular mountainous landscapes. Then drive towards Cao Bang, with a scenic walking stop in Quoc Toan, Quang Hoa District.
Overnight at a hotel in Cao Bang.
DAY 3: CAO BANG – BAN GIOC WATERFALL – CAO BANG
Visit the spectacular Ban Gioc Waterfall, walk down to the Quay Son River and enjoy a raft ride to admire the waterfall from the river. Continue to Nguom Ngao Cave, famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. On the way back, visit Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village to discover the traditional forging techniques of the Nung people.
Overnight in Cao Bang.
DAY 4: CAO BANG – MEO VAC
Drive towards Meo Vac along spectacular mountain roads. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax.

DAY 5: MEO VAC – DONG VAN – YEN MINH
Explore the spectacular Ma Pi Leng Pass, overlooking the rugged mountains and the Nho Que River. Continue through the Dong Van Karst Plateau, visiting Pho Cao, Pho Bang and the Vuong Family Mansion (Hmong King’s Palace). Continue to Du Gia – Yen Minh, discover the local village and learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Tay people.

DAY 6: YEN MINH – QUAN BA – HOANG SU PHI
Depart for Hoang Su Phi, with stops at Quan Ba Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate to enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. Continue through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, along scenic mountain roads.

DAY 7: HOANG SU PHI – TREKKING
Spend the day trekking through the spectacular mountains and rice terraces of Hoang Su Phi, renowned for its impressive terraced fields. Meet local ethnic communities, including the Tay, Black Dao, Long-Dress Dao and Red Dao, and discover their traditional way of life. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a local family’s home during the hike.

DAY 8: HOANG SU PHI – HANOI
After breakfast, drive back to Hanoi, with stops along the way for photographs and to admire the beautiful mountainous landscapes.
